Vitas has 15 years of experience in measuring important biomarkers in biological samples from a range of sample types and species.
An extensive repertoire of
nutritionally important biomarkers is available to Vitas, owing to its close relationship
with the Institute of Nutrition Research at the Medical Faculty of the University of
Oslo. These  biomarkers include a wide range of lipids, vitamins, antioxidants,
hormones, and carotenoids. Vitas performs several thousand such analyses routinely every month. These routine analyses are highly automated.
The BioAnalysi service is not limited to nutritinaly important biomarkers. Vitas will likly be able to perform rapid method development and analysis of the required number of samples for any low molecular weight compound.
Vitas is one of the few Norwegian companies that on a commercial basis develop, and validate chromatographic
methods for analysis of biological samples.
Vitas also offers guidance and advice on instrument selection and purchase, automation of sample preparation, development of robust high-throughput methodologies, and trace analysis.
